We’re supporting a well-funded AI startup building agentic products that automate everyday tasks and workflows.
They’re looking for a Desktop Applications Developer with experience building desktop software and integrating AI capabilities into user-facing products.
Build and maintain desktop applications with responsive, intuitive interfaces.
Integrate AI agents, backend services and external APIs into desktop workflows.
Develop functionality that allows agents to carry out tasks with appropriate user permissions and controls.
Improve application performance, stability and resource efficiency.
Manage packaging, releases and application updates.
Work closely with product, design and AI engineers to take features from concept to production.
Strong commercial experience developing and shipping desktop applications.
Experience with a desktop framework such as Electron, Tauri, Qt or a native platform stack.
Hands-on experience building agentic AI products or integrating AI agents into applications.
Understanding of desktop application architecture, operating system integrations and secure local data handling.
Experience debugging performance issues and maintaining production software.
Comfortable taking ownership and shipping quickly in a startup environment.
